I have finally finished and uploaded GlovePIE 0.30 (in time for a 2007 release).

You can download it from:

http://carl.kenner.googlepages.com/glovepie_download

Please use this version instead of the pre-release versions that I posted here before.

This version actually includes documentation and other such luxuries.

It SAYS 0.30. But it is just a prerelease version for people to test.

If your exe file is called PIE.exe instead of GlovePIE.exe, then you have the prerelease version, not the real 0.30 version. The prerelease version is not supported.

The real version has actual documentation (which admittedly has errors, like I forgot that I removed the SmoothPitch and SmoothRoll because they were too confusing, but then went on and explained them in the documentation, creating more confusion). It also has samples (which may or may not work). And it has links to websites like this one.

And it has support for new hardware, like the Wii Fit Balance Board, and the Wii Guitar.

It also has better SIXAXIS support.

It also gets rid of the VR920 stereo support that didn't work, and always uses red/cyan anaglyph when you set stereo to true.

And the real version has brand new bugs, like not being able to read the Wiimote calibration when you use IR.

You aren't the only person to get that error.

But I don't know what's causing it.

When in the log file does that error occur?

There is another version of GlovePIE floating around this forum somewhere that you could try.

I formated my computer and the gloviepie3.0 worked fine. But after instaling the vr920 and other common programs the error message returned. Here where I work there's no VR920 and the gloviepie 3.0 works fine

I'll try to uninstall vr920 1.1 driver to see if it's any incompatibility.

I found the error only happens with the newest driver avaliable in the vuzix site.

I reverted my driver to the version that came in the original CD and no message error was shown

Unfortunately I think it was just luck. The glovie pie doesn't work now too.
