| | Hey there, I just ordered my VR920 the other day and it was a really tough finding any review or even a video of the product in action. The only 3 videos offered on the site are from 3rd party reviewers which briefly (VERY BRIEFLY) show the product in action. What you guys should do is show how the product works in every supported game and makes long demonstrations (VR920 user with a Video Screen in the backgroung to show his view). You don't even need any fancy editing. Just play the games and tape yourself playing the games. Gamers want to see the product in action not read specs. Specifications can only do so much to justify a purchase. This would be a cheap way to garner more interest in the product. Post videos on youtube while your at it. Please don't make some cheap editing with cheap special FX in your demonstration videos like the other VR-HMD product videos. Just keep it very simple and record people using your product in all supported games. |

| | I couldn't agree more... I haven't bought one yet, but need that reassurance before I'm ready to shell out the money. And I agree about the format - just make it super simple/low budget without the fanfare. A video of people playing a game, or perhaps a LAN party type setup where people are playing against each other (all using VR920s). |

| | I agree that they need some videos on their site. I would go a step further and say that they need a consumer site re-design. I would say YES but ask yourself this first. Do I want to be able to immerse myself in a game to a greater depth than previously possible? I have no doubt as the number of sales of this great product increase the software development community will jump on board and produce more content. Will there be a better product available in a year? Most likely yes there will be. I didn't want to wait. If you can afford to buy it now I don't think you will be dissapointed. Keep in mind that 640x480 screens are the best available for this price right now. When you first put them on the screen isn't huge but as soon as you move your head around and enable steroscopy...the world opens up in the game...its really pretty cool. |

| If you go to http://www.vuzix.com/news/in_the_news_video.html you'll find several videos of product reviews and interviews.
I do agree that a video showing the VR920 in action would be of benefit and we're working with a video producer to make that happen. It should be about 5 minutes that shows the set-up, calibration and use of the VR920. I don't have a completion date from the producer yet as we're just starting on the storyboard next week, but we'll get it posted as soon as its ready. If there is anything specific you want to see included, post your suggestions here and we'll see what we can squeeze into 5 minutes. |

| | Can I make a suggestion. You will get the best production quality with a professional company making the video for you. However, I'll bet the tech savvy guys/gals here could come pretty close for nearly free. Vuzix- Hold a contest for somthing like an AV230 and some T-Shirts for entries. Then you can post some user-contributed videos on your site. Fan videos are very powerful and lend credibility to the product when new customers see how excited people are about your products. Do it in addition to the production video. Just an idea. |
