| | Hey Guys! i thought maybe you can help me with your on-going experiance with the vr-920. well i got mine 2 days ago and i installed a fresh copy of windows xp 32 bit i got all my drivers and updates and i installed the iwear disk (before i plugged in the visor) up until here everything was good oh! maybe i should mention that i have a 8800 GTX and the drivers i installed both for the display & the 3d stereo were the 162.50 i also added the registrey line you suppose to had to get the 3d stereo panels. the question i have are: 1. in the stereo panels (in the nividia control panel) there are like 6 or 7 kinds of 3d glasses what is the exact one that fits the vr-920? i tried using some with the test image and i got like 3 options that were good but i would like to know the kind that fits the vr-920 the most. 2. any kind of shutter glasses that i tried and worked with the 3d stereo test image i tried in 3dmark2006 and i got 3d stereo but the scrren is full with tiny flashing black spots all over (in all the glasses options) and i was wondering if this is not a driver problem, as i know that the 8800 doesnt have descent 3d stereo driver yet, is it a driver problem?? thats it for now, i am sure ill have more questions later. thanks ahead for the help! |

| | Stereo will either work perfectly, or not at all. Or maybe it will work but swap eyes sometimes. If it doesn't draw correctly in some game, then that probably has nothing to do with the glasses, or the kind of glasses that you chose in the driver. It will be because the driver isn't working, or because the game doesn't work with the driver. I heard that the nvidia stereo drivers don't work with the 8xxx cards. But I don't know for sure. |
