| | I know Half-Life 2 is listed in the supported games list. I just wanted to hear straight from the mouth/keyboard of someone who owns both the game HL2 and a VR920 just how well they work together and if it is very hard to get the game up and running with the VR920 ? Also, I know the support list say "Yes" but I just want to know for shure, can you use both stereo 3d and head traking at the same time in HL2 and is it also easy to get both working together in this game ? |

| | I'm not played HL2 alot with VR920, but yes it is worked fine when I tested it. Pretty good 3D effect, and standard for VR920 head-tracking. Worked out-of the box with all drivers & software installed. |

| | Thanks Mnemonic, The game is 6 years old but I just started playing it for the first time a couple days ago and thought it might be worth getting a pair of VR920's just to play the single player. I know multi-player is out with head traking but do you think the head traking will do ok for single player ? |

| I play both portal and dystopia, which are total conversions of hl2 and they both work good with 3d. While for headtracking, i found huge problems with dystopia, the movement is so small that turning completely the head will result in a very small movement in the game. Anyway you can workaround this problem using glovepie 0.3.0 to get headtracking...
i can't remember if the head tracking was good for portal or not... |

| | Thanks Davide, I would say head tracking is probably as important if not more important to me than 3d but I do want to use both at the same time with this game. The little I have played the game I just think I would like to be able to look around here and there to feel more in the game. Not so much for shooting, for that I would use the mouse. So if anyone else has player HL2 with the VR920 using headtraking and 3D give me a reply here and tell me how it worked for you. |

| | Just wondering if anyone else has played HL2 single player with the VR920 with 3d and head tracking..did you like it better with the VR920 or is it just as good with a big monitor or projecxtor ? |

| I've played HL2 with the VR920 and its pretty cool in 3D. However I have also played it with a Zalman Trimon and I think that might be more impressive. I imagine a 3D projector would be even better.

| | Hi cybereality. Is the 3D from the Zalman Trimon monitor better looking than the 3D from the vr920 or any HMD in general where you have two seperate images, one for each eye? Do you get any ghosting or double image with the Zalman Trimon like you can from 3d produced with shutter and anaglyph glasses ? |
