| Hello,
I bought the VR920 a few weeks ago and I simply can't get it to work properly.
My system :
Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit
Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT 512 MB
RAM : 4 GIGS
What I would like to do is watch 3d movies and play 3D games.
Problem is the drivers.
1) Firmware Update - how do i check what version I have now? Can i upgrade from vista or do i have to install on a XP system.
2) Stereoscopic player - can't find the patch for VR920 , the one posted on the forum is gone and i can't find it anywhere. Any other player you could recomment ?
3) My computer sometimes crashes when using the headset, perhaps there are some drivers for my vr920/vista/nvidia combo ?
Thank you for any help you can provide.
Regards,
George (phpgraphics)

| I am running Vista 32-bit with a 8800 GTS and it works fine with the VR920. To play movies you need the latest version of the Stereoscopic Player. Set the output to "Software Page-flipping" and then set the "Glasses Control" to "VR920". Depending on what video codecs you have you may need to tweak those for the best performance (for example with FFDShow I need to manually allow multiple DirectShow instances). I believe it tells you the firmware on the iWear monitor but maybe I am mistaken. You could try downloading the firmware updater and see what it says. If your computer is crashing then that sounds like a problem, it should not be happening. It may be a bug with the Vuzix drivers, you can try the iz3D driver and see if its any better.

| | Hello, Tried the iz3D driver but it keeps saying it can't find the monitors. Selected the vr920 beta thing, same issue.
In the monitor it says the stetoscopic nvidia drivers are the wrong version, guess that could be an issue. I'll try another versions of the stetoscopic driver, the one i have has no "Glasses setting".

| If you are trying to use the iz3D drivers then make sure the Nvidia stereo drivers are disabled.
