| | I just wanted to free anyones mind on purchasing the Vuzix VR920, asmany good members on here can agree. I've put the vr920 to the test without FAIL.. I've added them into a helmet and extended the cables, used the 3d drivers from vuzix and used the IZ3d drivers. All working and lasting for a good gaming experience. I know these were never designed for long periods of play or even commerical type using, well I tried both and had a very good success. We took our setups and went to our local fair in town and had a blast, and had a very good feedback from the kids and a few adults.. My setup was The VR920's molded in a Helmet, tracking inside the helmet, the gun acting like the keyboard to move around in the game. The cables supported up above to give a 360 degree movement. A force feedback vest and playing the games in stereo3D, IZ3d worked well as did the vuzix, both worked better for certain games. We were setup for 2 days for atlest 8 hours a day. They worked like they were a $5000 helmet, well thats what a company would charge for thier helmet as it's a mod too. Most have used the z800 or the i-visors. Add some headphones and a cool helmet and boom. $$$$$ Vuzix you really did a good job on pricing and picture quality, hopefully a bigger FOV, bring up the RES and keep the price low, you will never go wrong.. I can't wait for another pair soon... Take care everyone.. A bud of mine came down to try it out and see the setup. the setup at night was awesome I couldn't keep these guys away from the system lol. |
