Has anyone messed around with the 3D drivers on this site to see if there is anything that can be useed with the VR920.

They have ATI and Nvidea Stereo drivers.  I have a dongle from a old set of shutter glasses and I think I remember somone getting the differant edimensional drivers working on other hardware by useing the dongle.

Anyway look and see if there is anything that might work.

Be careful if you have an 8800 card, I don't have experience with other cards with the ED drivers. I don't own a VR920 yet I did try the EDim drivers to see if they worked with the 8800 cards. They sort of worked ... sometimes but the S3D was of very low quality, there was a checkboard effect on screen, and half the time if the driver got stuck I got this horrid strobe effect that would not go away. It made me nauseous just looking at it for a few seconds. After three reboots with the stupid strobe effect still in place I had to wear dark sunglasses and take quick glances at my screen to uninstall the ED drivers. Nvidia's drivers never did this to me nor do amusement park rides or any other virtual simulators.

So take percautions before you wear the IWear so you don't hurt your eyes.

Hi,
I have ttriedthe e-d software with the Vr920.
When you put the dongel between the vr and your pc you get the Flipping sisignalsnd the vr divides the pictures on the two displays.
But I've got black horizontal stripes on the scescreenoth eyes same position), with lower resolution they becbecomeithinner40 thinnest 1024 thickest) and are anoannoying
But for WoW Its better with stripes than with the nvidia driver, witch onely makes the area 3d, not the characters

cirk2,

Make shure the refresh rate is set right for the VR920.

Even if you had it set right before you used the ED&dongle maybe the ED drivers are set to a differant default refresh rate that is causing the Horz, lines..

I don't have a VR920 so I can't help you trouble shoot.

I do have ED drivers and a dongle so when I get a VR920 I will give it a go.

See what you can come up with cirk2, good work, Thank you very much for giving this a try, I have been waiting for somone to do it.

One more thing cirk2,What video card do you have ?

Gf 8800 GTX

but the nvidia driver is functionating best for most games.

But for world of Warcraft, ed was and is the best driver

Edith says that the refresh rate is settet right to 60Hz.
I think the Stripes are build in as a Mask or something (in the ed)

Tested all combinations of drivers/Os's, wdm to beta from mtbs3d with my 8800 and never get something worked, bsod, freeze, laaag, no effect etc... all i managed to have is on my 7600 gt with one core shutdown, all peoples i know on a lot of forums boards get the same results, so may be you are Jesus or somekind of guy/god ?

All my tests are here http://forums.vr920.com/Topic9-7-1.aspx
But i didn't test with Edimentionnal glasses, i mean with nvidia driver and vr920.

Edimentionnal use interlace mode (more like Vrex horizontal interleave mode)that is not compatible with Vr920, vr920 use ddc Vga mode like Elsa Revelator that i own too. Ez3d driver has is own mode too.
