| | Hey guys, I've been looking into these glasses and I have a few questions before I fork out the dough to buy these things! I've been looking at VR920 and AV920. The AV920 says specifically they support consoles such as Xbox, Wii and PS3. However the VR920 do not mention such support. Does the VR920 support consoles? Also, would it be better for me to wait on the Wrap 920 before buying? One last question, can these things hurt your eyes? Thanks, -Taylor |

| AFAIK there is no version of the glasses that supports both pc and consoles.
And i'm sure the vr920 don't support consoles, as they come with a VGA input that isn't likely to be found in a console.
So what you want to buy depends on what you actually want to use them with.
For sight problems, i think you can get a bit of eye strain if the steroscopic 3d isn't well configured for your eyes, but once you get a good config that fits you i think there will be no problem. The only trouble i had so far is when i use them with contact lenses, then i "forgot" to blink and the lenses get dry pretty quick giving a bad sensation. But you can comfortably use the vuzix glasses with prescription glasses too, and that's what i'm doing...

| | As David metioned, there is the vga cable you could get for the xbox360 and see if anyone got this to work but then why would you really want an HMD for playing a console system. Unless they start adding 3d support and tracking, your wasting your money for the console excitment. These are made for 3d gaming with tracking giving you a nice experience. These are just my opinions, good luck with your choice. Ku |
