| | I've been following these glasses for what it seems like a long time now. I'm really surprised with how long the VR920s have been out, that a new version hasn't made its way on to the scene yet. It seems like Vuzix just wants to keep making new products for different usage categories, rather than improving products they've already had for awhile. Does anyone know if this is coming, and when? I really want a pair, but I was going to hold out until a better/improved version came along. |

| Maybe VR1440, they didn't announced it on the website yet, but it was in press-releases.
Actually VR920 evolved, new ones better than old one's - firmware changed, ergonomics changed a bit, tracking much more stable, less problems with heat (however it still can be hot). |

| Seeing how they announced the VR1440 without actually making a "coming soon" page on their site, and it's been a while now, I wonder, and this is just a wild guess, if they perhaps because of the upcoming Wrap they are putting all their efforts there. That could make sense the way I see it since they could be targeting a potentially wider audience.
I sure would love to see a high def vuzix, and since I dont have an iphone I personally dont care for the Wrap (unless they make Android-support), so I hope they havent dropped the idea of a higher def one. |
