| When I look at anything in 3d mode when using the visualizer, or playing games I get a weird distortion where half of the screen is sliding to one side. I made a picture in photoshop of what I am seeing. It used to happen in the JPS viewer but not anymore.
Another thing to note is that it doesn't happen in the visualizer when it is not in Full Screen.
Everything looks normal in 2d mode. I have the latest firmware installed and the latest software.
I'm running Windows Vista 64bit and I am using an Nvidia8800 graphics card. I used the native drivers and IZ3d drivers and both have the same problem.

| I have Vsync on "Force On" in the nvidia global settings.
As for the games that have Vsync I have turned it on there as well. I tested it on Team Fortress 2 and the same thing happens. |

| Ok, I dusted off the dust on my dual boot XP install and tried the VR920 there. I installed the Visualizer and set it to full screen and it worked perfectly. So that pretty much rules off hardware issues since I'm using it on the same system which leaves the OS.
So it is probably a Vista 64 bit or Just plain Vista problem. I did a google search on Vsync and Vista and it seems that Vista has problems with Vsync due to the api not allowing the Nvidia drivers have control over Vsync in Full screen mode.
If this is correct I need to either play games in windowed mode or find some kind of way around it. Any help doing this would be appreciated.
I really want to avoid using XP since I barely use it to begin with and I don't like rebooting to do one thing. That's the reason I stopped using Gametap. |

| Vsync works for me in vista. It could be another problem but when i turned vsync off the image looked like that for me and there was some sort of flickering in the upper part of the screen. Try installing latest nvidia drivers and reinstalling vuzix drivers.
PS also try with some other game. |

I tried reinstalling the Nvidia drivers and now it works now. Thanks.
The thing is that I did install the latest video drivers when I ordered my VR920 sometime before Feb 19 which is the date these new drivers came out. If I didn't preemptively update I wouldn't have had this problem, oh well. Glad it works now. |
