Do you know of a portable DVD player with a VGA output and a USB connector? I don't know any.

Do you want to use it in a car? If that's the case, I've seen +12VDC to USB 5V converters. Maybe it would work to power the VR920. Personally, I've never tried. Here's one : Link. If you are not in a car, you could connect the VR920 in a powered hub or switch. I'm not sure it works to power the VR920 without a computer.

Then maybe you could find a component to VGA transcoder. Something like this or this. The transcoder is probably powered so if you are in a car, you'll need a inverter (12VDC to 110VAC). Don't take one that has too much Watt (more than 400W, I think) as you would need to connect it directly to the battery, instead of in the cigarette lighter.

Tril, all great stuff, but it wouldn't work. The VR920 will only display video from the same source as the USB power, and that power must come from an enumerating port; the only three devices that I am aware of in the world that would be capable of supporting the VR920 are: computers (of course!), the XBox 360, and the PS3. The XBox has several limitations which are discussed elsewhere on these forums at this date (no audio/headtracking/3D - the AV920 is a better fit), and the PS3 is capable of supporting the VR920 in theory only, since they don't offer a VGA cable, so there's no video signal available.

I'm going to assume the original request was referring to our portable DVD player, but the answer is the same for all of them: the VR920 won't be compatible, but any of our AV series models would be.
