| | I'd like to have a go at Doom 3 with these glasses at some stage. That would be very scary in Virtual Reality. |

| Hi Carl. I suggest downloading the Doom3 SDK and implementing it with that. I just glanced at it and I think it shouldn't be much of a problem to get the head tracking working, where you can move your head independently from the rest of your body (weapon and flashlight) with the PlayerView Class. I think this will be an amazing experience together with the stereoscopic effect.
I'm still waiting for my glasses to be shipped and if you're not already doing something like that I will give it a go when I have more free time, but this won't probably be until 2 or two moths from now.

| | Vuzix have added VR920 support. It works well, except for one 2D part in the introduction where the glasses are already in 3D mode and thus blank while it is talking about Union Aerospace Corporation. That might just be because I am running it on my 1GHz PC with Geforce 2 MX. The 3D looks really cool in the game, and the head-tracking is nice. It doesn't feature separate view and aiming controls though (at least I don't think it does, I didn't test it in the parts with a gun). |
