| I am not a techie but I do understand what makes 3D stereo work very well (I've actually drawn blue and red 3D pix that work!!). The stereo effect in IL2 works but outside the cockpit it looses much if not all the stereo effect. I know that what gives stereo it's depth - or lack there of - is the amount of separation between each viewpoint.
Again, I'm not a techie but is there someone who could write a simple step by step of how to simply set the side to side vantage points further apart to increase the stereo effect? Am I asking for the impossible? |

| | Are you using native stereo or nvidia stereo? By the way, outside an aircraft most things should realistically be at infinite depth. |

| | If you go into iWearMonitor, and double-click on the name of the game, it gives you some instructions. I don't know if it mentions a key to change the separation. You can try opening the game's folder and editing the VR920Dx9Stereo.cfg file. I'm guessing IPDView specifies the separation. But I haven't tried it. (My computer is being repaired). |

| | I am nowhere near competent to get into the code of the machine. I'd need step by step instructions. |
