| If you copy the D3D9.dll or/and D3D8.dll and the config file into other game directories you can enable S3D with typing ctrl F8 ingame.
Tested with LFS and some D3D demos.
But i didn´t find out how to get more convergence or seperation by changing the config file. It would be great if somebody could tell which entries have to be changed to achive this.
By the way Crysis and Oblivion looks fantastic with stereo and no drawbacks like no postprocessing. Thanx to Vuzix for that!
Edit: Found out some things:
Method=1 - 9 to get different modes for z?
IPD_View=0.000 - XXX.XXX for separation |

| | I was wondering if that was the case. But I was too busy to test. I suspect you can do the same thing with tracking. Although the tracking via that method would be no better than what can be done with mouse emulation in GlovePIE. |

| | No. It only comes with two fake Direct3D DLL files, one for direct3d 8, and one for direct3d 9. No OpenGL, and no D3D 1,2,3,5,6,7, or 10. |

| I tryed it with WoW, but It won't work...
in the Confing files there is an option "Method=" there you can change the way the s-3d is generatet, may you can get so some games to work, just change the number.
but WoW won't work
I may coninue trying with some games until my main PC is maitenance... (It's 64bit so there is no stereo^^) |

| Colin McRae Dirt works:
Method=3,
IPD_View=0.035,
IPD_Menu=0.035,
Manual_VSync=0,
Locking=0,
QueryGPU=1,
LogFile=0,
AutoIPD=0,
ExpMax=0.11,
ExpRate=0.001,
ExpPoint=0.10
Tested with demo, problems with shadows, so deactivated it.
Life for Speed with D3D8.dll:
Method=7,
IPD_View=0.135,
IPD_Menu=0.001,
Manual_VSync=0,
Locking=0,
QueryGPU=1,
LogFile=0,
AutoIPD=0,
ExpMax=0.11,
ExpRate=0.001,
ExpPoint=0.10
Use FOV 50 and no cockpit, its amazing! It blows me out of my socks with G25 Wheel and Trackir4 Pro for headtracking.
Oblivion with better config file (more depth):
Method=4,
IPD_View=1.000,
IPD_Menu=1.001,
Manual_VSync=0,
Locking=0,
QueryGPU=1,
LogFile=0,
AutoIPD=0,
ExpMax=1.011,
ExpRate=1.001,
ExpPoint=1.1 |

| Freelancer seems to work much better with Vizix driver than with nvidia stereo. Here are the settings I used:
Method = 2
IPD_View=0.010
IPD_Menu = 0.001
Manual_VSync = 1
Locking = 0
AutoIPD=0
logfile = 0
it probably can be tweaked for better picture but the results a satisfactory |
