I'll vote for this.

It's obviously quite different from adding support for a game. You'll just have to nag the developers lots and convince them how easy it is to add stereoscopic support for the VR920 (very easy).

Hello there,

Just a questions about both , movie player and picture viewer...will they work with native stereo support of vr920? If not is there software that will play 3d movies and allow viweing of 3d pictures .jps files compatible with vr920, vista 32, and non-nvidia video card?

thanks for the feedback

Arthur

The stereoscopic movie player from 3dtv does kind of work with the vr920 but its buggy. When it does work it looks awesome with real video in stereo 3d.

If I select the nvidia page-flip 3d in the settings then it works (obviously with the old drivers on xp), but only for some types of 3d videos (I dont think interlace works). Most of the sample videos from 3dtv do work, however. The issue is that my computer will crash when running the program, not sure if this is a widespread problem. It has nothing to do with the vr920, the stereo movie player will crash (on my computer) even with other display modes like using shutter glasses. I have the full version but it usually crashes after about 20 minutes or randomly on certain videos. Maybe we should see if they could implement native stereo support for the vr920, I don't see why they wouldn't.

3d dvd's using 'Stereoscopic Player'. Although the 3d effect is good, I feel it could be much better
if the guys at Vizux came up with a native 3d dvd player (like the jps viewer). I think they would sell
a lot more VR920's, as there is no way to view frame sequential dvd's on lcd screen's or TV's, and a lot of
people own the NUVIEW attachment. This is the problem I had, as shutter glasses won't work on LCD display's.
