A major software update for the VR920 has been posted on our Downloads and Drivers page.
http://www.vuzix.com/support/downloads_drivers.html

The update requires firmware version 1.109 or greater.

This iWear VR920 v2.0 software update provides:

New iWearMonitor
The new iWearMonitor looks the same but handles iWear Extensions in a whole new way. It now looks for compatible applications when opens and takes its enabling actions them. Its system tray icon is now dormant with its sole remaining purpose being to provide quick access to your iWear software, reducing its need for ongoing system resources.

Vuzix 3D Driver support for 40 game and simulation titles
Vuzix 3D driver support is now increased from 2 titles to a whopping 40! All titles identifies as “Vuzix Stereo” can be used with virtually any make or model of graphics card running on a 32-bit Windows XP or Vista system.

New documentation
Our VR920 documentation has been completely rewritten. The new docs now contain Vista installation instructions, additional VR920 information and more.

Improved Windows Vista (32-bit) support
VR920 installation and use under Windows Vista has been improved. Installation is now simple and straightforward and the annoying messages when running the iWearMonitor in the system tray are gone. And of course, more than 40 titles now work on your Vista system, regardless of which graphics card you’re using.

Enjoy!

Make that 41 titles!

I know my 1 title looks kind of pathetic compared to your 40 though.

PLEASE UPDATE http://www.vr920.com/

It says the latest version is 0.6. And I don't think it lists the firmware update.

If you are too lazy to update www.vr920.com, can you at least replace it with a redirect?

I agree we need a list of supported games and it needs to be on the front page of your VR920 page. I can't find it anywhere.

Thanks for the heads up on the http://www.vr920.com/ page. I had requested a redirect some time ago but it looks like it spilled between the cracks. I expect it will be done shortly.

I know my 1 title looks kind of pathetic compared to your 40 though.

I thought you added native tracking to several open source titles a few weeks ago Carl.

The 40 are only the titles with Vuxiz 3D Driver support enabled through the iWearMonitor. The total number of Vuzix 3D driver supported titles is greater, add on those supporting tracking and the list is longer and then add on all the Nvidia Stereoscopy titles and the supported titles list gets very long.

I'm currently working on a method of cataloging and relaying that information in a quantified manner that will tell or customers not only which titles contain some form of support, but also what type of support it is so they can be informed at to potential quality.

If you have or know of titles with 3D stereoscopy support (Vuzix Native Mode, Vuzix through iWearMonitor, or Nvidia) or tracking (Native or through iWearMonitor) let me know the title, is webpage and they type of support it provides and I'll get them on the list.

I am mainly concerned about the working Vuzix native stereo titles since I own an 8800GTS. Any clues to what they are.. only could see maybe 12 or so listed in the instruction pdf.
