Hi all, Please can someone assist me as I am new to this? I am running Iware Version 1.1 on Vista Home Premium. FSX (with SP1 & 2) is installed to partition D:\FSX and I am unable to configure head tracking to work. I notice that <DLL.xlm> and (cameras.cfg) should be copied to C:\Documents and settings\<User ID>\Application\Data|Microsoft|FSX directories but I am unable to locate these in Vista. Can anyone guide me as to precisely where these files should be copied to in Vista? Also is there a need to "edit" the XLM file?  <IWRDLLTracker.DLL and IWRDLLTracker.DLL.manifest are in the D:\FSX\Modules directory and <D3D9.dll> is in D:\FSX directory is this correct? IWare Monitor is running in XP SP2 compatibility mode as it just hangs the machine otherwise. VR920 is shown as primary adptr, application status reports OK, tracking status shows yaw, pitch and roll running and FSX is added to tracking enabled. FSX is viewing ok in the glasses but no tracking.

I have been going round in circles any help much appreciated.

The application data folder is a different location on Vista.
Look in:

C:\Users\Carl\AppData\Roaming\

(obviously replace the Carl though)

Hi Carl,

YOU ARE A STAR! Many thanks for the fast response. Excellent forum. Suggestion to Vuzix perhaps this should be added to the info file in the software may help other Vista newbies.

Incidentally possible tip for others running Vista, as I said in first post I am running Iwear monitor in XP SP2 compatibility mode as I spent a whole day of trying to install the different software versions but the machine just kept hanging when I launched monitor. This worked great 1st time for me with v1.1. Thanks again.
