When I start Vuzix manager it gives me a message that I need to update the firmware. I cannot find any firmware updates on the VR920.com website. I'm using 162.50 card/stereo drivers.

Thank You!
Somebody should update the vr920.com website... especially since that is where the Vuzix Manager directs people for firmware updates.

Wow, what a difference. Head tracking works much better in FSX after the firmware update. It could just be me, but the image seems more stable as well.

Anyone have any trouble with this update. I followed the directions exactly. I get an error during the update. I tried more times then it said "VR920 cannot be updated...contact Technical Support" I am trying once again...but its sitting at half progress.

Anyone seeing this?

I will let you know if it goes through.

Wow! That means there are 2 people out of 8 that managed to update their firmware without bricking it.

My update attempt ended in an error twice. This happened on the last phase of the update ( the one that takes up to 10 min). I restarted the updater and on the third attempt it finally completed the update.

I don't know if this makes a difference, but when the updater failed I did not unplug the unit from the USB. I stopped the updater and restarted it.

I never made it to the last phase. I get stuck after the second disconnect. It won't recognise that it is reconnected.
