For example my GeForce GO 7300 won't work with unmodified inf files.

Getting rid of Vista on the other hand, is not easy. I haven't been able to install XP yet. Or 95 or 98 for that matter. Besides, as a software developer, I need to be able to test things on Vista sometimes.

GeForce Go and Stereo

Hello,
I just bought an ACER 9813 Laptop with a 20" screen and was having troubles using S-3D with my new VR920.
I have a GF Go 7600 and Vista (Well no more now...)
I reversed to XP Pro first then install forceware 162.18 with Windows drivers update feature and used a standard GF 7600 GT driver.
Then i DL stereo drivers 162.50 from mtbs3d.com download section.
Tested it with my favourite games at the moment World Of Warcraft and everything went smoothly.

So for those of you who have a GF Go card, I think if you just unzip nvidia drivers package
Then load your GFX card properties pages in hardware management then select update drivers.
Select "don't search for drivers let me choose"
Then you click on "have disk" button, browse to the folder where you have unzipped the Nvidia drivers you will found the .inf files.
When prompt to choose a driver to install select a line that match you card number (i.e.; I choose 7600 GT though I have a Go7600) and hit ok
And TADA your drivers are updated xD

Launch nvidia stereo driver setup proceed to installation
And now enjoy your favourite games in S-3D on your laptop with your Brand new VR920 (set as main screen).

Last but not Least I have a C2D CPU I just use the windows XP hotfix for dual CPU and no more crashes in S-3D (for now anyway...)
See--->http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=60416

For more detail on install and activation.

Blues
