It works well, except for one 2D part in the introduction where the glasses are already in 3D mode and thus blank while it is talking about Union Aerospace Corporation. That might just bebecause I am running it on my 1GHz PC with Geforce 2 MX. The 3D looks really cool in the game, and the head-tracking is nice.

It doesn't feature separate view and aiming controls though (at least I don't think it does, I didn't test it in the parts with a gun).[/quote]

You mean Opengl work ? cause you asked for Doom3 on these topic, i know your assault cube work very well, i have it :P ,but you used programing instead of simple dll in a folder no ? Best things would be dll for dx/gl and a real time tweak panel, with this no more beg for game support .

RE: Doom 3

WOW!
Now I REALLY can't wait till my vr920 gets here... less than 24 hours... but I'll be in misery until I've got them :P

RE: Doom 3

Only my AssaultCube mod, that I know of.

RE: Doom 3

What games have separate viewing/aiming controls?

RE: Doom 3

Vuzix have added VR920 support. I suggest downloading the Doom3 SDK and implementing it with that. I just glanced at it and I think it shouldn't be much of a problem to get the head tracking working, where you can move your head independently from the rest of your body (weapon and flashlight) with the PlayerView Class. I think this will be an amazing experience together with the stereoscopic effect.
I'm still waiting for my glasses to be shipped and if you're not already doing something like that I will give it a go when I have more free time, but this won't probably be until 2 or two moths from now.

RE: Doom 3

I can't even imagine how immersing this title could be lol:w00t:

RE: Doom 3

+1

RE: Doom 3

yeah a cam control would be cool too.

RE: Doom 3

Yes...a VR trip on Mars would be nice. That would be very scary in Virtual Reality.
